For the Prestige AZ2204N’s optimized bolt-on construction, Ibanez relies on premium tonewoods that promise a lively sound. While the alder body with generous contours sits comfortably against the body, the flowing Super All-Access neck joint guarantees unhindered reach to the highest registers.

Equipped with alnico magnets and a moderate output, the Seymour Duncan Fortuna single-coils in neck and mid positions together with the Fortuna humbucker placed at the bridge provide natural vintage tones with finely balanced basses, mids and highs that also capture subtle nuances in playing and transmit them to the guitar amp. The Ibanez dyna-MIX9 circuit with classic 5-way switch and Alter switch promises a particularly rich palette of musical timbres for lively clean and overdrive sounds through flexible switching options.
High-quality hardware from Gotoh
Last but not least, optimally tuned hardware equipment completes the Ibanez Prestige AZ2204N-PBM Prussian Blue Metallic. The Gotoh T1702B tremolo with brass tailpieces and block is adjusted with five springs on the body and supports the lively vintage character of the electric guitar, but also allows smooth down-bendings for harmonic tone ornaments. At the headstock, the strings are also guided with a straight pull over the bone nut before they are held by the precise and tuning-stable Gotoh Magnum Lock H.A.P. tuners, whose height-adjustable winding axles allow precise adjustment of the contact pressure of the strings on the nut.
