The Sigma GMC-STE BKB+ Electro Acoustic, Natural is a performance ready instrument with a versatile sonic-character and on-board Fishman electronics, perfect for the gigging guitarist. With a solid sitka spruce top and mahogany body, the GMC-STE BKB+ produces a versatile sound with crisp articulation, punchy mid-range, plenty of warmth and resonance. Additionally, its bone nut provides the Sigma with added resonance and sustain, as well as enabling the guitar to stay in tune for longer periods of time. Furthermore, the GMC-STE BKB+ features a grand OM-14 fret cutaway which is built to be able to accommodate numerous genres and playing styles with equal ease. The grand OM body also offers a comfortable playing experience throughout both seated and standing performance whilst its cutaway profile provides easy access to upper frets. Equipped with a Fishman Isys+ preamp and tuner, the GMC-STE BKB+ is ready for the stage, offering basic sound tweaking for live and rehearsal environments. With a grand OM-14 fret body combined with its mixture of tonewoods, the Sigma GMC-STE BKB+ produces a full low-end, emphasis within the mid-range, and sparkles within the trebles. Its versatility makes the GMC-STE BKB+ able to handle both lighter fingerpicking styles to meatier strumming patterns with ease, perfect for adding a range of dynamics to a player’s individual musical style. Furthermore, the grand OM body also offers a comfortable playing experience due to its curvaceous shape and nipped in waist, providing comfort throughout both seated and standing performances. For added comfort, the GMC-STE BKB+ has a venetian cutaway profile, offering easy access to upper frets and more challenging chords.

Fishman Isys+ Preamp   

The Sigma GMC-STE BKB+ comes equipped with a Fishman Isys+ preamp system for optional amplified performance, offering tone shaping options for live and rehearsal settings. The preamp features rotary controls for volume, bass and treble, allowing the player to add a little extra sonic-character to the amplified sound. In addition, the preamp also features a phase button that reduces undesirable feedback when plugged in. As well as all this, the Fishman Isys+ also has a built-in tuner that provides precise and easy tuning whether performing acoustically or amplified.

Mahogany Neck & Micarta Fingerboard         

Constructed from mahogany, the Sigma’s neck delivers a resonant rich warmth that responds superbly to many different playing styles with equal ease. Additionally, the neck has a low profile shape for added comfort and a better grip in each position up and down the neck. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a micarta fingerboard which offers a smooth playing experience whilst adding sonically pleasing tones to the guitar’s overall sound.
