Ibanez GRG140 Electric Guitar – Sunburst

The GIO line of electric guitars is an affordable instrument designed especially for beginning rockers and metal players. Even with these instruments, care is taken to ensure that the look, sound and playability offer players maximum satisfaction.

The body of the GRG 140 SB is made of poplar. The maple neck is glued to a purpleheart fingerboard with twenty-four jumbo frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by white position dots.

The combination of three passive pickups with ceramic magnets, i.e. a cob humbucker and two single-coils, provides the guitar with the necessary sonic drive as well as a rather wide sonic arsenal. Standard adjustments to the sound settings can be made using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and five-position toggle switch.

The strings are mounted in the company’s T102 tuning machines and tremolo.
