Warwick Teambuilt Streamer LX Limited Edition 5-string Bass Guitar – Honey Sunset Burst

Warwick’s Teambuilt Streamer LX Limited Edition 2025 5-string combines premium tonewoods, cutting-edge sonic circuitry, and uncompromising craftsmanship to create an ultra-exclusive behemoth of a bass. As soon as this bass arrived in our Guitar Gallery, we were amazed at the attention to detail Warwick’s luthiers afforded this special instrument, from the 2025-exclusive Honey Sunset Burst finish and eye-grabbing mother-of-pearl Yin & Yang inlays to the poplar burl top and tigerstripe ebony fretboard. Armed with active MEC 2-way electronics, a quartet of sonic-contouring controls, and the company’s cutting-edge Invisible Fretwork Technology (IFT), the Warwick Teambuilt Steamer LX Limited Edition 2025 5-string bass masterfully captures the soul of the decades-long commitment Warwick has held to visionary top-tier instruments — don’t miss your chance to own this exclusive bass!

Time-tested innovation, elevated cutting-edge playing

The Teambuilt Steamer LX incorporates several Warwick innovations to optimize your playing techniques — notice we use the plural here. That’s because the playing feel and responsiveness of this incredible bass is ideal for 2-, 3-, or 4-finger plucking; slap-and-pop; flatpicking; old-school thumb-style — or any mix thereof. On the other hand, you’ll savor the silky-smooth feel of the Tigerstripe ebony fingerboard with its 24 jumbo brass frets — extra high, extra hard — that are treated to Warwick’s innovative IFT process. Add in other custom touches like Warwick-crafted tuners, Warwick’s 2-piece 3D bridge and tailpiece, and a Tedur Just-A-Nut that allows for effortless adjustment, and you have a formidable professional instrument that will go the distance in your career. For smooth playability, it doesn’t get any better than this!

Formidable MEC active electronics

A premium active German bass needs premium German electronics, so Warwick has outfitted this bass with the best: active J-style pickups and preamplification from MEC. The pickups’ heavily shielded, stacked-coil humbucking design delivers massive tone and drives long cable runs without a hint of noise, while giving you the tidy “J” form factor that many bass players prefer. And the bypassable 2-way preamp allows you to rapidly tweak your tone to perfection for any playing situation.

The control set includes a push-pull Volume pot that doubles as a preamp bypass, a Bass/Treble control, and a Balance pan pot that lets you easily nail your preferred blend of the two pickups. This premium electronics setup makes the Teambuilt Streamer LX an absolute tone beast that pumps out impossibly fat low end and crisp mid/high growl — a potent sonic elixir with the power to punch through busy arrangements and hold its own in the mix. Another cool feature is that you won’t have to mess with batteries — underneath the elegant wooden back plate resides a rechargeable battery pack!

Warwick: high-performance basses for all players

In the 1970s and ’80s, the arrival of high-performance bass guitars from serious boutique luthiers gave accomplished electric bassists instruments that were capable of supporting their virtuosity when performing the demanding fusion music of the era. One such luthier was Hans-Peter Wilfer, who at the age of 24 founded Warwick in 1982. Three years later, his company launched the Thumb Bass, which would go on to revolutionize the industry. Precision-crafted in Germany, the Thumb Bass was designed to support all playing styles. Notably — as referenced in the instrument’s name — it was specifically optimized for slap-and-pop, which by then had become a popular technique. Flash forward several decades, and Warwick is still at the top of their game. The first carbon-neutral company in the music business, Warwick has placed environmental consciousness at the core of its operations, as it crafts a full range of high-caliber basses for players of all levels.
