The WesAudio _Prometheus is a fully analog, passive 2-band equalizer built on classic Pultec-style inductor circuitry, delivering that legendary warm, “boost and cut at the same frequency” tone-shaping with +24dBu of headroom. Low-frequency boost and cut covers 20, 30, 60, 100, 120, and 250Hz, while the high section offers boost at 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, and 16kHz alongside high-cut points at 4, 8, 12, and 20kHz. A switchable THD circuit (Medium and High modes) adds vintage-flavoured even-order harmonic saturation for extra colour and richness.

_Prometheus operates in Stereo, Dual Mono, and Mid/Side modes, giving engineers serious flexibility for mastering and mix-bus work, with post-EQ output level control for fine gain-staging. Six touch-sensitive encoders allow full parameter automation directly from your DAW, while in/out metering with clip detection and a hardware A/B function make dialling in settings fast and precise.

Like the rest of the ng500 range, _Prometheus pairs its fully analog signal path with total recall and plugin control in AAX, AAX DSP, VST3, VST2, and AU formats — accessible via front-panel USB in a standard 500-series rack, or through WesAudio’s _Titan chassis for unified recall across your entire rack.
