The WesAudio _Calypso is an 8-channel AD/DA converter built for the 500-series format, delivering high-resolution 24-bit conversion at sample rates up to 96kHz (SMUX) with an ultra-low jitter clock for pristine timing and minimal noise. With THD+N as low as -108dB and 116dB of dynamic range on inputs, _Calypso offers a transparent, high-performance front end for any rack — and Word Clock I/O keeps it locked tight with external gear.

_Calypso works in any standard 500-series chassis via its two front-panel DB25 connectors, but it truly shines inside WesAudio’s _Titan ng500 chassis, where its Internal Audio Connector (I.A.C.) enables a virtually wire-free routing setup. An onboard LCD screen displays channel metering, clip indicators, sample rate, clock source/sync status, and plugin connection (H-LINK) at a glance, while two selectable converter reference levels (+4dBu/-10dBV) ensure compatibility with both pro and consumer-level gear.

As part of the ng500 ecosystem, _Calypso integrates with VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU plugins for full recall of I.A.C. routing — letting you instantly switch each module’s input between its rear XLR jack or a direct I.A.C. connection straight from your DAW session. This makes _Calypso the connectivity hub of a _Titan-based rack, supporting flexible recording, mixing, and outboard-chaining setups with one-click recall between configurations.
