The Line 6 Helix LT is the ultimate solution for acquiring real, rich tone. This next generation processor uses a new dual-DSP engine to provide you with an enormous amount of power, and giving you the ability to accurately recreate your favourite sounds, or discover the exciting dynamic feel of real tube amplifiers, instead of just a copy of their sound.

Line 6 have accurately measured and matched each stage of an amplifiers circuit and implemented these measurements into the Helix’s engine. Every single model reacts exactly as it would if you were playing through the real amplifier. With extensive attention to detail that replicates power supply ripple, individual tube sag, and even control over B+ voltages, the Helix enables you to truly experience the unique characteristics of your dream amplifier. With the ability to load custom impulse responses, the Helix is the perfect way to create your personal sound with almost limitless capabilities.

The centre of your rig

The Line 6 Helix LT can be easily integrated with traditional effects pedals and other hardware. This enables you to unlock the best combination of hardware and software, and utilise the unique and powerful sound of a hybrid environment. All this is achievable thanks to the Helix being equipped with the most flexible audio routing ever implemented on a guitar processor, along with its dynamically allocated DSP.

The Line 6 Helix LT features L6 Link connectivity for smooth digital integration with other Line 6 products and StageSource speakers for the optimum live playing experience. When using a Variax guitar, you can use the Variax input for instant model and tone recall, effects control, and power to variax guitars.

Intuitive operation

The Line 6 Helix Guitar Processor does away with the steep learning curves often associated with achieving the perfect tone with enormously powerful gear. Thanks to the durable touch-sensitive footswitches, the Helix allows you to select an effect block to edit simply by touching it.

Combined with a large LCD display, endless menu-diving is a thing of the past, giving you the same level of control that you would expect from an external editor. Achieving great tone at high speeds is quick and easy, with coloured LED rings letting you know what each footswitch is doing at a glance.

Pedal-Edit mode

The Helix enables you to interact with technology in a significantly more intuitive manner. Creating the perfect tone has never been easier, and you won’t even have to stop playing to tweak a control knob. Thanks to the built-in Pedal Edit Mode, you can use your feet not only for activating and bypassing effects, but for making accurate adjustments to parameters by selecting your desired pedal block, then the parameter, and adjusting it with the expression pedal.

Helix edit software

The Line 6 Helix LT features a handy USB port enabling you to connect your unit to a Mac or PC and take full advantage of the Helix Edit software. Helix Edit allows you to create and edit your presets to achieve a completely personal set of sounds. Simply drag and drop amps, caps, and effects to build up your desired signal chain, be it simple or complex, and then reorganise, rename, or edit your tones to your heart’s content. Helix Edit provides a seemingly endless list of possibilities, making the Helix LT perfect for getting that perfect personalised tone, or storing multiple different tonal styles for different playing and musical styles.

New Helix V2.21 firmware

Line 6 have released the 2.21 firmware update, which enhances the features released in V2.01 for the Helix. With a new collection of models and enhancements, the Helix delivers an even greater playing experience. V2.01 added new variax control enhancements that open up a huge array of new tonal possibilities, alongside new features that help to improve performance. V2.21 optimizes your units performance. This firmware update ensures that you receive the best possible performance from your pedal.
