Six Consoles - One Soul

There are four models available in the SSL Live console range; the L550, the L350, the L200 and the L100. At SSL they believe that offering a range of sizes and console specifications should not mean compromising on quality or features.


All four consoles use the same Remote I/O, use identical audio conversion and internal audio engine technology. The combination and layout of Fader Tiles, Master Tile and Channel Control Tile varies but the controls available and feature set are identical. The consoles use the same software with identical architecture, routing capability, and of course audio processing tool kit.


A full channel on the L550 is the same as a full channel on the other consoles and they all offer exactly the same outstanding collection of insert Effects. The differences between the four models centre on physical size, layout, available channel paths & processing power, and available local I/O.

STUDIO CONSOLES

ORACLE

The Solid State Logic Oracle solves the biggest headache of modern hybrid studios: it perfectly combines the rich, uncompromised sound of large-format analog gear with the instant, total-recall speed of a digital workflow. Historically, working on a large analog console meant tedious manual resetting between sessions, leading to costly studio downtime. The Oracle eliminates this friction by putting a true, full-voltage analog audio engine under an active digital control system, letting you save and recall every preamp, EQ, and routing setting instantly through SSL’s 360° software.


Under the hood, the console packs an incredible sonic palette by blending multiple generations of legendary SSL circuit designs. Each channel features a next-gen PureDrive preamp that toggles between ultra-clean transparency and rich, musical harmonic saturation. You also get the classic, switchable E-Series and G-Series 4-band parametric EQs, a massive current-driven summing bus inherited from the Origin desk, and a mastering-grade center section featuring THE BUS+ compressor with dynamic EQ and 4K analog grit. It is a massive toolkit that delivers a cohesive, finished sound without needing piles of external outboard gear.


To deliver this enormous processing power without overtaking your studio, SSL built the Oracle with a clever modular architecture. The physical desk itself maintains a compact, highly ergonomic footprint with a traditional dual-path in-line channel layout and 100mm motorized faders. The heavy analog electronics are decoupled and housed in remote, whisper-quiet rack enclosures that keep fan noise completely out of your control room. Available in 24- or 48-channel configurations, the Oracle acts as a hyper-efficient, high-throughput heart for commercial facilities and private spaces that refuse to compromise on authentic analog tone or digital speed.

STUDIO CONTROLLERS

Advanced workflow is at the heart of Solid State Logic’s design philosophy. All the way back to the legendary 4000E console, SSL have led the way in developing tools which revolutionise the way we interact with our productions and harness creativity. Fast forward to today, SSL’s UF1, UF8 and UC1 controllers are doing the same once again. Removing barriers and connecting artists, producers, and engineers closer to their technical and creative workflow. The result? Better quality productions that come together effortlessly, with subtlety and emotion that sets them apart.

UF1 is the ultimate single fader controller for anyone who wants comprehensive control of their DAW, bringing SSL’s renowned advanced workflow to in-the-box productions. UF1 boasts a premium 100 mm motorized fader, dual high-resolution displays, soft-feel durable rubber keys and a weighted jog wheel, all encased in a robust metal chassis. UF1 offers complete control of a DAW’s pans, sends, plug-in control and more, plus the ability to customise 46 soft keys specifically to your workflow. Clear and insightful visual feedback, intuitive control and deep integration with the SSL Meter Pro and SSL Meter plug-ins, as well as SSL 360° software - UF1 offers power and control never seen before from a controller of this size.

UF8 is a studio controller designed for today’s DAW-based production workflows and ultrafast turn-around times. An expandable 8-channel advanced DAW controller, UF8 connects engineers, producers and artists directly to the creative process, offering absolute command of their workflow and significantly accelerating the speed of audio production and content creation.

UC1 is a hardware plug-in controller like no other. It features dedicated knob-per-function controls for EQ and Dynamics, a centre section with full Bus Compressor controls, and an authentic moving-coil gain reduction meter. This combination provides the most creative, intuitive, and effective means of controlling plug-ins within your DAW session. In addition to controlling 360°-enabled plug-ins such as Channel Strip 2, 4K B, 4K E, 4K G and Bus Compressor 2, UC1 includes 360 Link and 360 Link Bus Compressor, two ground-breaking plug-ins that allow you to control any 3rd party plug-in from the UC1 surface

Super 9000

Super 9000 is Solid State Logic’s all-in-one analogue channel strip, combining the best of SuperAnalogue™ technology to deliver the modern SSL sound. First introduced in the legendary SL 9000 J and perfected in the Duality, the Super 9000 Channel Strip offers the ultra-low distortion, exceptional punch, and breathtaking clarity of our SuperAnalogue™ studio consoles in 1U.

Revival 4000

Revival 4000 is an all-analogue channel strip from Solid State Logic, delivering the unmistakable sound of the early 1980s SL 4000 Series consoles - a sound that set the industry standard and helped shape the music of iconic artists including Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Prince, U2, Metallica, and many more. Drawing on the revered circuitry of both the B and E Series consoles, the Revival 4000 offers the signature tone and sonic flexibility that form the very foundation of SSL’s legacy.

The BUS+


The bedrock of THE BUS+'s design remains faithful to the original circuit and using this as the foundation, we've built upon it, adding several unique colouration options and advanced processing tools. If you need it to be clean and punchy like the SuperAnalogueTM 9000 Series version, it can be. If you need it to be gritty and grungy like an early 4000E, it can do that also. Or if you need over-the-top, saturated, parallel compression for the drums, THE BUS+ has got you covered.


FUSION

Fusion is an all-analogue 2U stereo outboard processor created for the modern hybrid studio. Fusion introduces six completely new analogue colouration tools designed to bring the perfect combination of added tonal character, weight and space to your mix bus or stereo stems, with the detail, warmth and finesse that only real analogue circuits can provide.

PURE DRIVE

The PURE DRIVE harnesses Solid State Logic's renowned SuperAnalogue PureDrive™ microphone preamp technology, originally featured in the ORIGIN console. Available in 2 versions - QUAD (4-channel 2U rackmount format) and OCTO (8-channel 2U rackmount format), PURE DRIVE is an innovative preamp that maintains the clarity and punch of SSL's previous designs while also offering the flexibility to switch its character to a warm, harmonically rich, and driven tone that varies with gain.

SSL 500 Series Modules

SSL's range of 500 series modules offer key elements of the SSL sound that engineers and producers have relied upon for decades, and with the release of two new processing tools: SiX CH and UV EQ, there's also the next generation of advanced workflow, superior sounding and truly flexible production tools joining the range of classics from the legendary SSL E and G series consoles.
