All subwoofers in the EVO-X series feature a hi pass filter output.
This means that its simple to create a large EVO-X system without having to use external crossovers or DSP’s.
Simply connect your power amp to the EVO-X subwoofer and then take the hi pass output connector out to another full range EVO-X model.
Tidy cabling and great sound! Simple!
The surface of EVO-X is covered in our enhanced Rhino rock paint.
This is durable and hardwearing and will protect the EVO-X throughout its life.
The surface of EVO-X is also engraved with the iconic Wharfedale Pro boomerang logo. A logo which demonstrates sonic and hardware quality.
The cabinet is constructed of MDF.
This solid, but still lightweight, material gives EVO-X rigidity and reduces any mechanical distortion which a lesser material may introduce.
The MDF material also contributes to the overall tone of EVO-X. It delivers a warmth and roundness to the sound, making EVO-X a pleasure to listen to, even at higher volumes.
