WesAudio ngSumBox Analog Summing System
The WesAudio ngSumBox brings analog summing into the modern hybrid studio with an 18×2 architecture: 16 fully controllable summing channels plus two additional external inputs for stems, effects returns, or submixes, all running through a high-headroom analog signal path. Every channel offers individual level control with total recall and DAW automation, true LCR (Left-Center-Right) routing for precise stereo placement, and per-channel variable THD so you can dial in anything from pristine transparency to rich harmonic saturation.
A proprietary WIDTH circuit uses gentle saturation and advanced side-signal control to naturally enhance the stereo image without artificial widening artifacts, while 16 direct outputs (switchable pre- or post-fader) and dual illuminated VU meters alongside LED channel metering give you full visibility into your mix. Two fully analog insert points on the summing bus can be independently enabled, reordered, and recalled — perfect for integrating outboard compressors or EQs into an automated workflow. Selectable Electronically Balanced or Transformer Balanced outputs, plus an IRON PAD for controlled saturation, let you dial in anything from clean and modern to richly colored analog character.
ngSumBox is designed as the centerpiece of a hybrid studio, with full MC and HUI controller integration bringing back a tactile, console-like mixing experience alongside seamless DAW plugin control for recall and automation — combining the depth and cohesion of analog summing with the speed and flexibility modern productions demand.
WesAudio is a Polish audio manufacturer based in Szczecin, founded in 2010, known for building professional analog outboard gear that bridges classic tube and transformer-based circuit design with modern digital convenience. Their flagship ng500 series — including modules like _Rhea, _Calypso, _Dione, and _Mimas — pairs fully analog signal paths with total recall, DAW plugin control (VST/AU/AAX), and automation, all accessible via USB or through their _Titan rack chassis for unified control of an entire 500-series setup. The company’s focus is on giving engineers genuine vintage-style analog tone without sacrificing the recall and automation workflows expected in modern digital studios.
