The WesAudio ngLeveler — the “Next Generation Leveler” — is a 16-channel analog automation system designed to bring fader-level recall and signal management into any analog signal chain. With +25dBu input and +28dBu output headroom, a 6dB passive PAD for handling hot signals, and ultra-low noise and distortion (THD+N < 0.01%), it’s built to sit transparently between outboard gear, summing stages, and your DAW while giving every channel total recall.

The ngLeveler has no front-panel controls of its own — it’s managed entirely through its DAW plugin, a HUI controller, or both, giving you fader-style level control with full automation and instant recall on session reload. Each of the 16 channels also features WesAudio’s proprietary THD circuit (Off, Medium, or High) for analog saturation and harmonic warmth, plus independent MUTE, SOLO, and SOLO SAFE functions, IN/OUT metering before and after leveling, and flexible channel linking modes (Stereo, Linked, or Linked Opposite) for driving stereo gear or finding the sweet spot on vintage outboard. Channels can be grouped into four assignable groups for linked automation, with a separate Trim mode for fine -10dB to +5dB adjustments on top of fader automation.

Built around DB-25 analog connectivity with USB or Ethernet for digital control, the ngLeveler excels in real-world applications: managing levels into a summing mixer, automating sends/returns to outboard compressors and EQs, taming hot signals heading into your A/D converter, or finding the perfect drive point on vintage gear. It’s the centerpiece that ties an analog-hybrid studio’s level management and recall together.
