The Strymon Cloudburst Ambient Reverb Pedal is Strymon?s first single footswitch pedal. Based on the acclaimed ‘Cloud’ preset from the flagship Big Sky, obtain the lush reverberation this algorithm offered, but with added functionality, with the groundbreaking Cloudburst.

Placing itself firmly at the cutting edge of reverberation effects, revolutionary new ENSEMBLE mode lets you add transformative, radiant, pad-like soundscapes underneath your reverb tone. The Cloudburst’s intuitive control layout with full MIDI and expression pedal compatibility lets you quickly and easily dial in your dream reverb, while Strymon’s advanced ARM Superscalar processor then realises this sound with immaculate audio quality.

From the Big Sky to the Cloudburst

Inspired by its bigger Big Sky and Blue Sky brothers, the Cloudburst brings that hallmark quality reverb in a smaller, more pedalboard-friendly size. It’s packed into a super light yet robust aluminium chassis, so you can expect it to stand up to the rigours of road life and frequent performances.

Super immersive Strymon reverbs

Utterly authentic ambient reverbs. Strymon’s pedal features cutting-edge algorithms and a 24-bit 96kHz AD/DA, 520MHz 32bit floating ARM Superscalar processor to create super detailed reflections and reverb tails, capturing every detail of the effect without being too power-hungry on your board.

Freeze and infinite modes available via TRS EXP jack

A standout feature of the Strymon Big Sky reverb, the Freeze and Infinite modes are here on the Cloudburst. They offer wild new approaches to reverb to really spark your creativity. Infinite will stretch out the sustain of the effect for.. well, inifinity, while the Freeze setting enables you to play over the top of that reverb without affecting the sound. And what’s more, you can switch between presets without cutting the effect – seamless!

High impedance / ultra-low noise connectivity

Top class Strymon quality. The Cloudburst is equipped with A JFET input/output circuit to ensure minimal noise and maximum clarity in your signal, ensuring you hear every nuance of its enormous reverb soundscape. And it’s suitable with virtually any setup thanks to switchable mono/stereo settings and MIDI connectivity, so you can integrate the Cloudburst to your rig with ease.
