Killer sounds you can tweak to perfection

The SPD-One Kick drum pad comes loaded with a library of 22 top-notch kick and stomp percussion sounds, so it’s super fun to play, right out of the box. Want to use your own sounds? No problem! Just connect it to your computer via USB and drop in the WAV files you want to play. Once you’ve loaded up the samples you want to play, there are several onboard options that let you further customize your SPD-One Kick’s sound. For starters, you can tune your samples up or down to get them to fit in with the rest of your kit or to create cool special effects. Speaking of effects, built-in reverb and distortion are also great ways to make the most of your drum sounds.

Integrates into any drum or percussion rig

Whether you’re light on the pedal or hard on your heads, the Roland SPD-One Kick drum pad can handle any playing dynamics you like. In addition to setting the volume and effects, the sensitivity is totally adjustable. You can even set it up for stick or hand use as part of a complete percussion rig. As for mounting, the included hardware gives you tons of options. It mounts to the floor or drum hardware for use as a kick drum, but it will also mount to a mic stand or just prop on a table, so there are tons of great ways you can put your SPD-One Kick to use. Finally, there’s no need to bother with extra cables (unless you feel like picking up an optional power supply), since the SPD-One Kick drum pad runs efficiently on four AA batteries.
