From the large 9″ multicolor touchscreen to the highly adjustable response of the re-designed jog wheel, Pioneer DJ’s CDJ-3000 delivers the hands-on control DJs need. In addition to the extremely sharp touchscreen, a few of the enhancements we like the most about the CDJ-3000 include its eight Hot Cue buttons, which you can color code in rekordbox, and the 3-way direction control, which lets you drop into Slip Reverse or Reverse mode instantly.

You can access all of this via the CDJ-3000’s 9″ touchscreen, which displays dynamic waveforms and real-time track data. If you’ve ever gotten lost in your folders trying to find a specific track, then you’ll love the CDJ-3000’s Keyword Search function and Track Filter, which let you quickly find tracks on any drive, no matter where you are in the browser.

Got FLAC files on your thumb drive? How about an SD card full of MP3s, or a USB hard drive loaded with AIFFs? No matter what your music collection looks like, the CDJ-3000 can handle it. You can even connect your iOS device and run the rekordbox app to load up a set you put together on your way to the show. Speaking of rekordbox, ProDJ Link lets you integrate various pieces of Pioneer DJ gear into a single complete network. On the more conventional side, gold-plated RCA outputs deliver high-quality analog audio, while a coaxial output provides S/PDIF digital output as well.

The flagship multi player, the CDJ-3000, is now compatible with the USB-HID*¹ control feature of the DJ application Serato DJ Pro. This comes under the Pioneer DJ Certification Program*².
On the screen of the CDJ-3000, you can now browse the music library in Serato DJ Pro when the application is running on a PC/Mac connected to the multi player. You can also scratch tracks and control Hot Cues, tempo, key, and more using the professional interface of the CDJ-3000.
To use the CDJ-3000 with Serato DJ Pro, you’ll need to connect them to a Serato DJ Pro unlocked device or a supported device with a Serato DJ Pro license or subscription.
Download the latest version of Serato DJ Pro (ver. 2.5.7).
To use Serato DJ Pro, you need to update the firmware on your CDJ-3000 to the latest version.
*¹ USB-HID (Human Interface Device) is a term used in the DJ industry for communication between DJ equipment and PC/Mac which can send larger amounts of information than MIDI – such as artwork and waveform data.
