The Nuova is a student model Flute, perfect for the beginner or the advancing student who wants quality. 

With its offset G it will be easier to reach the keys. The Nuova is ribbed constructed, this means large groups of posts are soldered to a large plate of brass, aka a “rib”. This “rib” is then soldered on to the body. With ribbed construction, you add more weight to the flute. This changes the vibration of the instrument. Typically, ribbed body flutes will give a warmer overall sound because of the added weight.The Nuova flute also has a split E-mechanism. This means the flute gives you a cleaner and more responsive top E.
