The NS Design NXTa Upright features a custom Polar Pickup System with a Pizz/Arco switch that optimizes the pickup’s response for both plucked and bowed playing. The NXTa’s dual-mode output allows you to effortlessly switch between a capacitor-powered active circuit and a passive circuit with high-impedance output. Simply connect the NXTa to any AC outlet for 60 seconds, and its active circuit will remain powered for up to 16 hours of performance time — no external battery required!
