Despite its compact two-octave layout, the Novation Launchkey 25 MK4 25-Key Keyboard Controller includes every creative tool that defines the MK4 generation — none of them removed or simplified for the smaller form factor. The generative arpeggiator with full step editor (tie, accent, and ratchet per step) produces evolving melodic patterns that go well beyond conventional arp functions. Scale Mode with 30 scales, Fixed Chord, User Chord, and Chord Map modes lock the keybed into harmonically consistent territory, while the OLED Chord Detector displays what chord you are playing in real time. As a result, the Launchkey 25 MK4 is as capable a creative tool as any keyboard in the range — just in a smaller, more portable package.

Ableton Live integration maps the 16 FSR pads, encoders, and transport controls to session view, mixer, clip launching, and recording functions through custom scripts, while NKS compatibility ensures seamless integration with the Native Instruments software ecosystem.
