Microtiming allows individual steps to be nudged off the grid for humanised, organic groove, while per-step probability introduces generative variation and pattern mutate keeps sequences evolving in real time. As a result, the Circuit Tracks moves well beyond simple loop-based performance into genuine compositional territory. The four sample-based drum tracks load user samples and sound packs via microSD, with Novation Components providing browser-based sample management and import.

Onboard effects include lush reverb and delay across synth and drum tracks, sidechain compression for that pumping electronic feel, and a master compressor for polished output. Two ¼” audio inputs allow external instruments and audio sources to be routed through the Circuit Tracks for mixing and effects processing, while two ¼” stereo outputs connect to monitors or a PA system.
