Many people have heard the sound of the chromatic harmonica without even realizing. Its versatility makes it perfect for folk songs and pop, as well as for jazz and classical music. Our Chrometta Series offers you an affordable starting point to begin exploring this exciting musical landscape, with the right instrument for your level of ability. The four models differ only in their tonal range, running from 2 to 3.5 octaves, but share the same features otherwise.

All versions have large channel openings and a projecting mouthpiece to facilitate learning to play single notes, as well as stylishly retro stainless steel covers. If you’re completely new to the world of the chromatic harmonica and want to find out if it’s for you, choose the smaller Chrometta 8 or 10. If you already have a little experience and are seriously interested in learning to play, we recommend the Chrometta 12 or 14.

With a tonal range of just over 2 full octaves the Chrometta 8 is the smallest instrument in the series. However, don’t let appearances fool you, it is just as versatile as its larger counterparts and is perfect for your first steps into the world of chromatic harmonica. Whatever style of music you’re into, this versatile little all-rounder offers a great place to start playing. And it’s small enough that you can take it with you to practice while you’re out and about.
