ISS Power Management saves precious energy

Genelec’s Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) feature automatically switches the active 7040A to standby, reducing power consumption to less than half a watt when no audio signal has been detected for awhile. When it receives an audio signal again, the loudspeaker turns back on. Fully compliant with the latest EU requirements and the ErP 2013 directive for electronic devices, ISS is good for the environment and will save you money on your studio electricity bill.
