The Delta II Series Hi-hat Stand is a ruggedly designed three-leg, extended footboard stand with tube joints that feature hinged memory locks, lateral cymbal seat adjustment, and a locking clutch, so you know your hats are firmly held in place during your performance. This stand also features DW’s patented Delta Ball-Bearing Hinge, which uses ball bearings on both sides for an ultra-smooth pedal motion. An added feature on the Delta II that drummers really appreciate is that the Folding Footboard stays attached to the base casting when it is folded up, making storage, transport, and setup much easier! Finally, each hi-hat stand includes two pull rods in 15″ and 21″ lengths, giving you customizable options to fit this stand to different drum kit setups.
Fine-tuned hi-hat
Any drummer will tell you the setup of their snare is critical for a solid performance. The position of the bottom cymbal is especially important since it receives the top hat strike. With the lateral cymbal seat on the Delta II, you can easily and quickly adjust the angle on the bottom cymbal to optimize response and tone. And the locking clutch allows you to keep that annoying “sloshyness” at bay and keep your hi-hat firmly in place for the best tone and response possible.
