The Chapman ML1 Modern Standard is a dual-humbucker guitar that combines classic design with a modern edge. This particular Special Run ML1 comes equipped with powerful Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentient pickups, and also boasts a unique “Storm Burst” finish applied to a gorgeous Poplar Burl body top. Top it off with 24 jumbo nickel frets, a Graph Tech Tusq XL nut and alluring black hardware across the board, and you’ve struck the perfect balance between versatility and attitude.

Premium Construction

Chapman have opted for Mahogany for the ML1’s body, adorned with a stunning Poplar Burl veneer top. While the Mahogany provides you with uncompromising sustain and rich lows, the Poplar Burl ensures excellent clarity in the mid-range and upper register.

For the neck, Chapman has opted for smooth satin-finished Maple, with a bolt-on configuration featuring a volute. This reinforcement, combined with a dual-action truss rod, means sturdy tuning stability and excellent proficiency with drop-tuning. The slippery satin finish and familiar C-shaped neck means that you’ll feel right at home – whatever your style!

Seymour Duncan Humbuckers

Chapman have loaded this limited edition ML1 Modern Standard with a double-dose of US-made Seymour Duncan humbuckers. Sporting a Pegasus in the bridge and a Sentient in the neck, these high-output pickups deliver immense power and clarity with punchy mids that perfectly complement the Mahogany body. Expect soaring sustain and a crystal-clear top-end – whether clean or distorted.
