The centre piece of any modular set up. Meet the Behringer System 55 960, this sequential controller is the key you’ve been waiting for. Insert it into your Eurorack rig to open the door to a world full of wonderful, uncharted sonic possibilities. From soaring leads, to mind-bending rhythms. Absolutely anything is possible with the 960 in your hands. The sequencer provides you with all the necessary components to add flair to your productions and performances.

With three rows of CV controls you’ll be provided with eight steps. If that isn’t enough then fear not. Simply patch in a 962 module and this will transform the 960 into a controller capable of 24 steps. Don’t even think about it. Dive right in and creating your best tracks yet!

Expand your sonic empire

The 960 sequencer controller provides you with three rows of CV controls. These allow you to adjust the pitch of the signal. Should you wish to stop the sequence then engage a 9th additional step. The 960 is incredibly versatile. By patching in a 962 sequential switch you’ll be able to transform the 8 steps into 24. The expansion allows you to create more detailed, expansive rhythms and lead lines.

Own the stage

You’ll be able to achieve more variation in your sequences by switching the stage mode switches to normal. This allows the 602’s current stage to expand to the next. Skip allows you to bypass your current stage, whilst stop halts the sequence. The power is in your hands as you’re free to trigger each stage manually by simply hitting the set button.

Versatile oscillator

The 960’s oscillator is incredibly comprehensive. From here, you’ll be able to adjust its range and pitch by turning the frequency range knob. For even more control this can be tuned to taste with the frequency vernier knob. Expand on the flexibility of the system’s oscillator by connecting another module via the control input. The 960 provides you with a seemingly infinite number of sonic possibilities.

A legend reborn – 55-style circuitry

The System 55 series from Behringer allows you to own a piece of history and recapture the sound and tonality of legendary 55 series modules. The original modules were utilised by legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Keith Emerson and Tangerine Dream. The unique sound generated by the modules was the product of the discrete transistor designs, which became a ground-breaking landmark in the modular world.
