Behringer Spring Reverberation 646 Spring Reverb Module

The Behringer Spring Reverberation 646 Spring Reverb Module takes up the mantle of the legendary spring reverb unit of the mid-20th century that was used by the likes of Pete Townshend and reggae/dub maestro Lee “Scratch” Perry, and now, it’s reimagined in a portable, Eurorack-compatible form factor. Its bare-bones aesthetics stay faithful to its spiritual predecessor, concealing within it an all-analog architecture and dual-spring design to supplement your sound with iconic space-shaping spring reverbs meticulously re-created with exacting precision. Its versatile connectivity suite includes pairs of both balanced and unbalanced mic inputs as well as dedicated input duos for both high- and low-level auxiliary signals. Moreover, its line-level outputs are complemented by two dedicated sockets for a mute footswitch, supporting virtually infinite configurations of guitar, bass, keyboard, synthesizer, and Eurorack stage and studio setups — much to the delight of our sound design pros. Speaking of Eurorack, the Spring Reverberation 636 can be removed from its housing to occupy a 72HP spot in your case, expanding its multimode modularity to support your sound with indelible spring reverb sonics. In fact, if you bump it — not too hard — it’ll conjure the classic “boing” sound you know and love!

Behringer Spring Reverberation 636 Spring Reverb Module Features:

  • Faithful re-creation of the classic spring reverb module that provides historic sound-shaping tools in a contemporary form factor
  • Dual-spring design and all-analog architecture that elicit deep, spacious, and malleable reverbs with distinctive, iconic textures
  • Vintage-inspired aesthetics to pay homage to its predecessor and immediately distinguish its lauded tones from the rest of your rig
  • Versatile I/O suite that accommodates balanced, unbalanced, high-level, and low-level inputs for seamless multi-instrument incorporation in your stage or studio performances
  • Dedicated mute footswitch sockets to introduce further modularity in your setup
  • Onboard Overload circuit to supply clear visual feedback to support real-time sound design and on-the-fly tweaks
