Designed from the ground up, the Footprint®03 delivers the unmistakable Barefoot sound — detailed, powerful, and emotionally engaging — in the most compact and accessible monitor the company has ever built.

Breaking from tradition, the Footprint®03 introduces Barefoot’s first ported cabinet design, featuring a side-firing bass reflex system engineered to extend low-end reach while preserving the tight, controlled response that Barefoot monitors are famous for.
The result is a monitor that feels much larger than its size — capable of delivering rich, punchy bass and expansive imaging in rooms where space is at a premium.

At the heart of the Footprint®03 is a trio of precision-engineered drivers, each powered by its own Class D amplifier for pristine, tri-amplified clarity:

• 1-inch ring radiator tweeter (60 W) – featuring an advanced neodymium motor system, copper shorting rings, and an aluminum faceplate for pristine, fatigue-free highs.
• 3.5-inch aluminum cone midrange driver (100 W) – engineered for high linearity and midrange precision, ensuring vocals and instruments are reproduced with accuracy and depth.
• 6-inch forward-firing aluminum cone woofer (100 W) – optimized for long excursion and low distortion, producing detailed, powerful bass with exceptional control.

Driving this innovation is Barefoot’s groundbreaking SPOC™ (Spectrally Optimized Conversion) system, a patented DSP architecture that places analog crossover filtering before digital conversion — preserving high-frequency information and achieving a 15 dB improvement in signal-to-noise ratio.
Combined with a next-generation Digital Signal Processor (DSP) boasting 3 ms of latency (down from 10 ms), the Footprint®03 delivers the kind of instantaneous response, high resolution, and pristine transient detail that redefine the compact monitor category.

As with all Barefoot monitors, the cabinet design is integral to the sound:
a meticulously constructed MDF enclosure finished in the brand’s signature Footprint Gray polyester coating, with stress-assembled panels, internal damping, and a solid aluminum baffle plate for maximum rigidity and vibration control.
Despite its compact size, the enclosure’s substantial mass and advanced acoustic engineering ensure a smooth, uncolored response even at high SPLs.
