The WesAudio _Hyperion is a fully analog, 4-band parametric equalizer offering +24dBu of headroom and an innovative 18-VCA-per-channel design that delivers near-noiseless parameter changes without sacrificing musicality. Each band offers switchable gain ranges of ±5dB or ±15dB, with the High band covering 2kHz–25kHz (bell or shelf), High-Mid 600Hz–8kHz with full Q control, Low-Mid 200Hz–2.5kHz with full Q control, and Low band 30Hz–350Hz (bell or shelf). A high-pass filter with selectable 6dB/Oct or 12dB/Oct slopes rounds out the tonal-shaping toolkit, and every band has its own independent bypass switch for fast A/B comparisons.

_Hyperion operates in Stereo, Dual Mono, or Mid/Side modes, making it equally at home tracking, mixing, or mastering. A proprietary THD circuit adds analog warmth and harmonic richness on demand, while in/out metering with clip detection and a hardware A/B function keep your gain staging precise.

As part of the ng500 line, _Hyperion’s analog circuit is paired with total recall and DAW plugin control across AAX, AAX DSP, VST3, VST2, and AU formats. Twelve touch-sensitive encoders let you record automation directly into your session, and the unit integrates via front-panel USB in a standard 500-series rack or through WesAudio’s _Titan chassis for full rack-wide recall — giving engineers a precision parametric EQ with genuine analog character and a modern digital workflow.
