The lovely chaps at Premier Guitar magazine gave Ashdown an Editors pick award for the CTM 300 at Namm.

Introducing the new ABM 1000 and 2000 the most powerful bass heads Ashdown have ever made!
 
The ABM 1000 pairs the much loved ABM EVO III pre amp with a monstrous Class D 1000 watt RMS (2000 watts peak) power section resulting in a huge increase in power coupled with a dramatic reduction in weight compared to the ABM 500 head retaining the signature Ashdown tone but with masses of headroom. The ABM 2000 uses two 1000 watt power modules producing a bone crushing 2000 watts (4000 watts peak)
 
When trying for the first time at the Namm show French bass player extraordinaire Pascal Mulot declared the ABM 1000 to be simply ‘frightening’ and after damaging our hearing many times during the development of these new amps we would have to agree with him!

Ashdown have for many years manufactured one off specials and many modified units both in terms of controls but also styling.
 
This being their 15th Anniversary it’s a good excuse to make these fun parts of their company available to the public and not just artists or friends who visit them in Essex.
They are offering custom print work, names, styling, panel artworks, colour schemes on chassis as well as cabinet covering and grill cloth choice.
 
Additionally they will continue to run limited edition units world wide, From 25 to 100 unit runs at a time.
