COPA Industry Day
The Campus of Performing Arts (COPA) recently hosted an Industry day where music retailers were invited to display and demonstrate certain product ranges from their shops in order to allow the students to try out the different products and sounds.
Marshall Music staff spent the morning with the students offering advice and expertise particularly in the drumming and guitar sections. Both the Woodmead and the South Managers, namely Garth McLeod (Drums) and Michelle Smith (Drums) were present, along with Stuart Goodwin from the Woodmead branch demonstrating guitars and Lisa McGhie who was recently employed as Marketing personnel for the group .

Marshall launched a new and innovate product at the event, namely the Loyalty Incentive program. This took the form of a brochure in conjunction with two cards being handed out to students. The Student Preferential Card gives the student the opportunity to visit any of the Marshall Music Branches in the country and receive preferential discounts on well known branded items. The Student Loyalty Card enables the student to purchase certain products from the Marshall Stores and should they return to purchase one of those items 4 times, their 5th set will be free. This encourages the Students to stay loyal to the Marshall Brand. This incentive product will be rolled out to other students of music at other institutions in the future. A great morning was had by all! Good luck for the 2010 year to all the COPA Students !
